OUR SCALABLE SOLUTION

GbV is not just an interpersonal problem. It is a public health and leadership crisis.
Parity Lab transforms this crisis by guiding survivors and male allies through a three-phase pathway: Healing → Leadership → Public Action.

We equip them with trauma-informed tools. We develop them as leaders. And we help them embed prevention programs inside their own institutions, driving a 50x community multiplier effect.

About Us

Parity Lab is a global social enterprise transforming how the world prevents gender-based violence. Since 2021, our healing-centered model has equipped hundreds of survivor and ally leaders across 9+ countries to launch and institutionalize prevention programs, impacting more than 100,000+ individuals worldwide, and preventing 3000+ child marriages.

This is a global movement built on one belief: healing creates leaders, and leaders create healthier societies. Collective healing, collective impact.”

Our Approach: The Engine for Exponential Scale

Parity Lab built a scalable model that heals trauma and empowers survivor-leaders to prevent Gender-based Violence (GbV) in one generation. Our methodology is a structural engine that converts the resilience of survivor leaders into institutional reform, ensuring exponential, sustainable impact.

1. IDENTIFY: We recruit survivor and ally leaders (80% from historically marginalized communities) who are already positioned in high-violence areas, ensuring our solutions start where the need is greatest.

2. TRAIN: Fellows complete the 3-6 month, 50+ hour Anchor™ Fellowship, blending Eastern and Western mental-wellness tools. Progress is rigorously tracked via the Trauma-to-Leadership Rubric (8 metrics).

3. SCALE: 100% of Fellows launch a prevention initiative, mobilizing up to 500 people each (a 50x multiplier) within the first

“Systems capture my attention. People carry histories. How systems have molded me right from boarding school which was like a boot camp. I even carry that up to today.”

Miriam Wangari Wachira

Founder, Justice Nest & 2024 Acumen Fellow driving Legal Reform

“When we joined the fellowship, we thought that Parity Lab would give us answers, but instead, this journey taught us how to find answers ourselves. It gave us strength to believe in ourselves and our creativity.”

Neelam Besra, Chairperson and Human Rights Defender

“The mental wellness sessions at Parity Lab didn’t just impact my personal life—they transformed the way I work. For instance, I used to wonder why a woman in my meetings never spoke, but after learning how to truly hold space, I was able to help her open up and understand her own challenges. That moment reaffirmed the power of trauma-informed leadership.”
